UK Lights Daytime dipped headlights in poor visibility
Mobile Phone Hand held phone must not be used whilst driving

France Lights Daytime dipped headlights in poor visibility
Horn Only allowed in built up areas in an emergency

  • Town 50km/h
  • Out of town 90 km/h
  • Out of town Dual carriageway 110 km/h BUT 100km/h if wet
  • Motorway 130km/h BUT 110 km/h if wet
Breathalyser The law says that drivers have to carry a breathalyser test kit
But the Police do not seem to be enforcing this rule

Holland Lights Daytime dipped headlights recommended
Buses Have right of way when leaving Bus Stops

Driving on sidelights is not allowed
